MarkMagic supports printing “smart” labels containing RFID tags for many popular thermal printer types: Monarch, Printronix and Zebra. Included is support for Class 1, Generation 2, EPC protocol. In addition to EPC tags from Alien Technology and others, MarkMagic supports RFID tags from Matrics, which plans to introduce a read-write version of the Class 0 EPC tag, and Texas Instruments TagIt tags, Philips I-Code tags, Inside Technology's Pico tags, and ISO 15693 tags from a number of manufacturers.
